Key Achievements

  • I have proven viability of the technology. Vision software is a complex technology, especially with Lego where bricks can look quite similar. Using my first funds I have developed the PoC, with a 98% accuracy on recognising correct bricks in my initial setup
  • I have proven commercial traction. Lego is an enormous markt (EUR 200 m in NL and EUR 700 m in DE). However, rental is extremely small and unexplored; a real white spot opportunity. Market research shows how a lot of customers are interested in using Lego for a rental price, but are simply i) not aware of the existence of rental because there are no strong marketing efforts, or ii) scared away by a terrible customer experience, because Lego is not sorted; sorting through vision software is confirmed as the solution
